Meet Our First Lady
First Lady Natalie Moss
— Romans 8:28
Originating from Macon, Georgia, Lady Natalie was raised in a family deeply rooted in Christian values. Her late father, Reverend James A. Chambliss, Jr., a business owner and devoted pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, and her entrepreneurial mother, Cletia Chambliss, instilled in her principles of compassion and hard work. At just nine years old, Natalie made a significant commitment to her faith at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, igniting a lifelong passion for spiritual exploration and the desire to help others.
Lady Natalie’s commitment to education has been the cornerstone of her professional journey. She began at Hampton University before transferring to Wesleyan College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received the prestigious Chairman’s Award for academic excellence. Her pursuit of knowledge continued with specialized training in public
health policy and law, equipping her to address pressing community issues effectively.
Completing the Leadership Macon program in 2012, an initiative designed for emerging leaders, Lady Natalie further refined her skills in addressing community challenges. As Co-Chair of the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC) – Atlanta Chapter, she actively promotes health and wellness in the Black community, tackling social justice issues through culturally relevant outreach efforts. Additionally, her involvement with the United Way’s Cole Society has contributed to raising much-needed resources to support local families in need.
Family is central to Lady Natalie’s life. As a mother to two young adult daughters, Kirsten and Tyler, she endeavors to instill values of love and compassion. Together with her husband, Reverend Dr. Marvin A. Moss, they have created a nurturing home rich in faith, laughter, and support, strengthening their commitment to both family and community. This environment fosters deep relationships and reinforces their shared dedication to serving others.
Having completed Lay Servant training for the United Methodist Church – Orangeburg District, Natalie is well-prepared to lead and support her faith community.
